With Liz Domingue of Just Get Outdoors

Meet at Clingmans Dome Visitor Center- at the bottom of the steps.

Considered to be one of the most magnificent sights in the Smokies, the iconic flame azaleas will be in bloom atop Andrews Bald during this hike with professional guide Liz Domingue.

When you hike the moderate-to-strenuous Forney Ridge Trail, you encounter some of the best views the Smokies have to offer, including beautiful Fontana Lake! This recently renovated trail leads to a spectacular display of flame azaleas and Catawba rhododendrons on Andrews Bald... a feast for the eye! Just before entering the bald, you'll detect a whiff of Christmas greenery!
