Location: Sugarlands Visitor Center - The benches at the restrooms.

We will follow the Old Sugarlands trail with views of post-wildfire forest recovery, spend time at the Sugarlands CCC camp and its history and take a walk to the old Cemetery. Highlights are the stone quarry, home sites, CCC camp, cemetery and a reason for Leave No Trace.

Activity rating: Moderate - You will be walking on uneven surfaces with exposed roots and rocks for the majority of the trip.

Mileage: 6 miles maximum. We will take breaks along the way.
What to bring: A personal first-aid kit and trekking poles may be helpful as well.
